Babylonian Jesus

VS

Biblical Jesus

Gen. James Green

G RANT THAT JESUS is really God, in a word, and everything falls orderly into its place. Deny it, and you have a form of Jesus and Christianity on your hands that are both equally unaccountable–the ultimate proof of the Deity of Christ Jesus is just [the pretentious shell called]: Jesus and Christianity. If He were not God, we would have a very different “Jesus” and a very different “Christianity.” And so, we do have a very different Jesus and Christianity PRESENTING THEMSELVES TO BE THE GENUINE and historical one. We have the “Babylonian Jesus” and “Babylonian Churchianity.”

This has all come about because modern man did not want the genuine, but the fake, hence, the Church is now comprised of fakes, snakes, and flakes…all ACTING O, so “Christian.”

The vain effort to ABOLISH the real-living-Jesus, and to utterly destroy the historical Jesus and historical Christianity is ongoing. But trust me, they–the real Jesus and real Christianity—will NEVER be destroyed, only REPLACED and RE-IMAGED by those who hate what they stand for...destroying Christianity is hopeless.

We need the “Jesus”—the “Biblical Jesus”—of history to account for the “Biblical Christianity” of history. And we need both the “Jesus” of history and the “Christianity” of history to account for the history of the Ekklesia. The history of the EKKLESIA is the product of that precise “Christianity” which has, despite countless ATTACKS!, existed, and this “Christianity” is the product of the precise “Jesus” which actually was and IS!!

To be rid of this eternal “Jesus,” we must be rid of this “Biblical Christianity,” and to be rid of that we must be rid of the world-history which has grown out of it. We must have the true/genuine “Christianity” of history, and the eternal “Jesus” of history, or we leave the world that exists, as it exists, unaccounted for. But so long as we have either the “Jesus” of history, or the “Christianity” of history, we shall have the Divine, eternal Jesus the Christ.

Why?

WE MAY ASK ourselves: “Why has the modern Church rejected the historical Jesus?” When we consider:

His character as perfect and sinless (Jn. 8:46; 1 Pet. 2:22 tells us that Jesus “did not sin, neither was guile found in His mouth”),

His claim to Divine authority over humankind,

His death as an atonement for (our) sin,

His resurrection as the demonstration of His Divine life,

His Gospels as faithful records of His earthly manifestations,

His living body of Christ (Ekklesia) as the perpetual testimony to His saving power,

His militant power over sicknesses, diseases, and demons,

His grace as witnessed to by His devoted followers,

His influence as acknowledged by some of His greatest enemies etc.

...then why has today’s modern Church trashed Him the way it has?

I think it is because men and women want to play God, that is, keep the throne of their darkened hearts ALL for themselves. But the supreme message of “Biblical Christianity” is NOT PRIDE and/or REBELLION, but HUMILITY AND SUBMISSION.

You see, “Jesus” of the Bible wants the believers to be in union with God, just as He was with His Father. Consider John 14:9: “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father.” Or take Hebrews 1:3: “Who believe the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.” The “Biblical Jesus” and the “historical Jesus” did not USURP His Father’s authority. But this is exactly what these Babylonian Jesus devils have done and are doing.

The Word was God!

THE UNCHANGEABLE sum of genuine Christianity is the message: The Word was God, and the Word became flesh (Jn. 1:1). This being so, it is clear that Christianity is not essentially a law for the regulation of our conduct, it includes it, but Christ Himself, His person (presence) and His life, in time and beyond time, and not merely a set of doctrines which He delivered, IS the heart, the CENTRAL OBJECT AND SUPPORT OF FAITH. This, I believe, constitutes essential, “Biblical Christianity.” His Messiahship, His Teachings, and His Manhood, are all included in the essence of Christianity, but do not exhaust it. Christianity, as Christ conceived it, transcends all these different aspects by accepting and embracing them in the One Supreme and dominant truth of His personal revelation of God.

The fact is, Christ Jesus brings God to man in order that He may bring men to God. So, to shove Jesus off the throne of our hearts (that is, if we have invited Him there in the first place by and through personal salvation) and to push Him out of the Church, is to court disaster…and today’s contemporary Church is a DISASTER. REPENT!
